Hi Kim
Here is the contact info I was able to gather regarding NOM making the statement that
"Massachusetts public schools teach kids as young as kindergarten about gay marriage.Parents have no right to object" in their mailers.
After speaking with the legal dept. of the Mass.Board of Elementary & Secondary Education ( 781-338-3000 x3400) they said that each school district has a different curriculum but "parents have the right to op out of any curriculum regarding human sexuality or sex education. EM may want to have someone check into this further to see if NOM statements are false. I also contacted the Md.States Attorneys office. They said to check to see how NOM is registered in the state ..if its a Legistlative Action Lobbiest..
www.ethics.gov.state.md.us There are rules about how much money can be spent and misleading statements.I hope this can help in some way. NOM has to be stopped.
