About EQMD PAC Donate to EQMD PAC Volunteer for EQMD PAC

Every seat in the Maryland General Assembly is up for election in November. And with races for Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General and Comptroller, this year's election will be vital in determining whether Maryland leads the rest of the country in advancements for its LGBT citizens.
That's why Equality Maryland has established the Equality Maryland PAC – formed to support equality-minded candidates here in our state. The Equality Maryland PAC will direct campaign funds to candidates who will make a difference to LGBT families. The PAC will use its funds to support our allies and to work for the defeat of politicians who oppose us on important issues such as the constitutional amendment.
About Endorsements
Here you will find Equality Maryland's endorsements. In order to be considered for an endorsement, all candidates must have completed a detailed questionnaire.
Endorsements are based on:
- Selected Candidate interviews
- Questionnaire responses
- Voting records of incumbents
- Viability
Direct lobbying by candidates and candidates' staff was not considered in the evaluation process.
Recommendations for endorsement were made by the PAC Committee of Equality Maryland, Inc. and approved by the Board of Directors of Equality Maryland, Inc.
