The Marylanders of Color Collective (MOCC) is an organization of people of color dedicated to engaging in heart-to-heart dialogue about LGBT people of color. Our goals include:

• Organizing Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender People of Color and allies to advocate for affirmation in communities of color
• Addressing racism in LGBT communities within Maryland
• Raising awareness about marriage and family equality, health care in our communities and hate crimes protection
• Providing educational materials and opportunities during town hall meetings at high schools, community centers, churches, colleges and universities with special emphasis on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)
• Addressing issues related to homophobia, same gender-loving relationships, history and contributions of LGBT People of Color to society
